Thanksgiving is not about turkey, dressing, fall colors, or pumpkin pie. Instead, it is a time for us to reflect on and express our gratitude for the many blessings in our lives.

Navigating the challenges of operating a business during a pandemic has only made me more aware of how blessed I am. I'm thankful for our team who have continued to work hard, stay positive, and remain constant in their commitments. I'm thankful for our clients who have trusted us with their businesses in a time cloaked in such uncertainty. I'm thankful for the technology that has allowed us to continue to collaborate.

Now and always, I hope you can hit the pause button, count your blessings, and commit yourself to living a life of giving thanks.

In this edition of OMG! PMG! we want to highlight the clients who have partnered with ProMedia Group through the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC). These businesses have secured funding through the ISBDC to help with marketing initiatives for three months. We are humbled and thankful for the opportunity to assist local small businesses during this time.

As always, I invite you to send us an email. Whether you have a comment or question, it would be wonderful to connect. Hope you all have a safe and fulfilling Thanksgiving.

Food Worthy of Cheers
If we had a time machine, we'd go back to tell our 2019 selves that eating at a restaurant would be taboo in 2020, just to see the look on our faces.

Restaurants, like 1816 Modern Kitchen & Drinks, have made drastic changes to operations so they can continue to safely serve their customers in their dining room and curbside. ProMedia's goal for 1816 Modern Kitchen & Drinks was to showcase their delicious daily offerings while promoting their private dining room for all occasions.

In addition to a monthly newsletter, we created a digital ads campaign and social media campaign that put 1816 right in front of people.

Since our marketing efforts, 1816 has seen an uptick in visitors, as well as an increase in private dining room reservations. So, whether you're tired of doing the dishes or craving a farm-to table home-cooked meal, 1816 is sure to please.
Getting Kids Cooking
We love Mesa Kids Cooking School's mission to enrich children's lives through cooking and baking, so we are thrilled to be able to broaden their outreach. Not only are kids able to take the skills they gain back to their home kitchens, they are able to apply the practical skills to their every day life.

Part of their new marketing plan includes a monthly newsletter that gives readers the opportunity to book workshops with a click, discover upcoming classes, and learn more about party packages. We also wanted to create an up-to-date way to emphasize the COVID precautions Mesa Kids Cooking School is taking so parents can rest assured that their children are safe.

If digital newsletters had Smell-o-Vision, we would definitely be drooling on our devices.

The Royal Treatment
Royal Pampering Day Spa's former website needed a facelift. Since a solid website is paramount to the foundation of any business, ProMedia knew a website redo was where we had to start. The Royal Pampering Day Spa website was moved to a new Wordpress theme, updated with new photography (taken on-location by our team), and restructured so that every page on the site is easy to navigate.

Once the site was updated, we focused on social media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Posting regularly is quintessential for any business to remain relevant, while engaging content helps to highlight services and products. Original content, reinforced by up-to-date photography, builds trust with potential clients, especially when a business offers intimate services.

ProMedia is thrilled to have been able to help Royal Pampering Day Spa's digital presence better represent their distinguished services and indulgent products.
More Than Just Games
Opening a business is challenging. Opening a business during a pandemic is extra challenging, especially when your business brings an entirely new concept to SoIN. Part restaurant, part bar, and part game hall (think corn hole and giant beer pong), Union Restaurant & Game Yard opened in September in downtown Jeffersonville. ProMedia launched a Facebook campaign to promote the unique new restaurant, attract customers of all ages, and emphasize the COVID precautions Union takes to create a fun relaxing environment.

Marketing That Is Up To Par
Families can thank their lucky stars that places like Golf Shores Fun Center exist because family fun beyond board games at home is hard to come by these days. ProMedia wanted to highlight the wholesome atmosphere and fun activities that Golf Shores provides, while making the public aware of the COVID guidelines that ensure SAFE fun.

ProMedia saw great success in digital ads for Golf Shores. Facebook carousel ads were perfect for displaying images of the outdoor and indoor courses so folks could immediately recognize that Golf Shores offers mini-golf, rain or shine. Our Google Search Ads, powered by a strategic keyword list, helped place Golf Shores in the top results for nearly a quarter million searches. We'll mark that a hole in one!

Where the Rubber Meets the Road

As platforms and businesses change, it's important for companies to regularly assess their digital footprint. That's where our journey began with Corydon Auto Care. Before starting social media campaigns, we made sure all of their information was present and up-to-date on platforms such as Yelp, Google My Business, Yellow Pages, and Manta. Conflicting or dated information on the internet can negatively impact how clients perceive a business.
